These Terms govern your use of www.abesautorepair.com (the "Website") and any services you book or receive from Abe's Automotive Repair, a sole-proprietorship operating at 4793 S Desert View Dr, Apache Junction, AZ 85120. By using this site or by authorizing repair work at our shop, you agree to these Terms.
1. About us
"Abe's," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Abe's Automotive Repair. "You" and "your" refer to the visitor, customer, or vehicle owner. Our Arizona Bureau of Automotive Repair number, if applicable, is displayed at the shop.
2. Website use
- You may use the Website for personal, non-commercial purposes and to request our services.
- You may not scrape, copy, frame, or reverse-engineer the Website without our written permission.
- You may not use the Website to transmit malware, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with other users.
- All content, logos, and trademarks are owned by Abe's Automotive Repair or its licensors.
3. Quotes and estimates
- Phone or online quotes are estimates based on the information you provide. The final price may change once we inspect the vehicle.
- We will not perform any repair without your written or recorded authorization of a line-itemized estimate, in accordance with Arizona consumer protection law (A.R.S. § 44-1262 et seq.).
- If we discover additional work during repair, we will stop, contact you, and request approval before proceeding.
4. Diagnostic fee
Diagnostic time is billed at our posted hourly rate. If you authorize the recommended repair, the diagnostic fee is credited toward the repair. If you decline, the diagnostic fee remains due.
5. Warranty
- We warranty parts and labor for 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first, from the date of service.
- Warranty covers defects in parts we supplied and in our workmanship. It does not cover damage from accident, abuse, neglect, modification, racing, or use of the vehicle outside its design parameters.
- Warranty service requires you to return the vehicle to our shop. We are not responsible for repairs performed elsewhere.
- Parts you supplied are not covered by our warranty.
6. Customer-supplied parts
We may install parts you bring in, but we cannot warranty the parts or any labor that fails due to those parts. We may decline customer-supplied parts that we believe are unsafe or non-conforming.
7. Payment, holds, and abandoned vehicles
- Payment is due upon completion of service unless you have an approved fleet account (Net-15 billing).
- We accept cash, debit, major credit cards, and check with valid ID.
- Vehicles not picked up within 30 days of completion may be subject to storage fees and, after applicable notice, may be sold as an abandoned vehicle under Arizona law (A.R.S. Title 28, Chapter 25).
8. Liability
- We are responsible for damage to your vehicle only when caused by our negligence while the vehicle is in our care, custody, and control.
- We are not responsible for personal items left in the vehicle. Please remove valuables before drop-off.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
9. No-shows and cancellations
Please give us at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Repeated no-shows may result in a requirement to prepay diagnostic fees for future bookings.
10. Disclaimer
The Website is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind. Blog content, symptom checkers, and FAQ answers are general guidance only, not a diagnosis of your specific vehicle. Always have a qualified technician inspect the vehicle before relying on online information.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa or Pinal County, Arizona. You and we each waive any right to a jury trial to the extent permitted by law.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top will change. Continued use of the Website or our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
